Every field we return is wrapped in provenance — the source it came from, a confidence score, coverage status, and when it was fetched. You never get an unattributed number you can't defend to a customer or regulator.
We maintain a source-by-source licensing audit and enforce it at the API layer. Fields from sources that don't permit redistribution are automatically redacted for resale-restricted keys, so you only ever resell data you're cleared to resell.
Freshness is per-source and returned on every field via a fetchedAt timestamp and coverage status. Permits, for example, are pulled from live municipal endpoints — some updated daily.
